Tiger Nut, Peach and Raspberry Smoothie

We are always looking for healthy tiger nut creations, and we fell in love with this gorgeous, refreshing smoothie creation by  Valentina from The Blue Bride  which we came across on Tea and the Gang’s website!

Not only is this smoothie gorgeous it is also packed full of health-boosting vitamins and minerals.  Peaches can sometimes be overlooked as a health food, but according to Dr.Josh Axe they are a powerful food that can help fight cancer, promote heart health and reduce inflammation.  Raspberries have also been shown to help fight cancer, boost heart health and also help with boost your metabolism and promote weight loss. Tiger Nuts are packed with antioxidants, vitamin E, prebiotic goodness and they can also help lower LDL Cholesterol. This recipe also has added superfood powders such as baobab, acai and maca, which all have health-promoting benefits too.  All in all this little smoothie is a pretty gorgeous way to get some healthy goodness!


  • a few frozen raspberries
  • 2 frozen sliced peaches
  • 2 medjoul dates, pitted
  • 1 pinch of vanilla powder
  • 2 tsp superfoods (optional – I used 1/2 tsp each of maca, mesquite, baobab and açai powders)
  • 1 cup horchata or tiger nut mylk (you can find out how to make fresh tiger nut mylk here) 

topping used here : A sprinkle of almond flakes, bee pollen and dried rose’s petals (my latest addiction) 


Cover the bottom of a jar or a glass with the raspberries and set aside.

Add in a high-speed blender peaches, dates, vanilla, superfood and horchata and blend until smooth.

Pour the smoothie over the raspberries and top with your chosen ingredients.
