This super little recipe was created for us by the lovely people at Of The Earth Superfoods!
Cacao Latte – this is made with their lovely organic Peruvian Cacao Powder, which when mixed with our Bebida de Chufa tiger nut mylk is too delicious for words! Cacao is packed full of nutrients and minerals, and is known to be a great mood enhancer too. Added to Tiger Nut Mylk this combination is going to also boost your boost your iron and potassium, help regulate blood sugar and help with digestive issues.
2tsp Of The Earth Superfoods Cacao Powder
1 tsp honey
200 ml Bebida de Chufa or any Tiger Nut Mylk
1. In a small pot, heat up 100ml of the Horchata and add all the above ingredients. Whisk until well combined.
2. Add the remaining Horchata into a glass or cup and foam with preferred method of foaming. We used a milk frother but you can also use a handheld foamer, cappuchino machine or simply give it a good whiz in a high speed blender. Should you be using a hand frother make sure to heat up the milk beforehand.
3. Now pour your warmed chocolate milk into the glass and give it a good stir.
