Great idea to mill the tiger nuts for easier use in baking. I use it to make raw truffles and also to add extra oomph and nutrients to smoothies! Love this company! Check out the great recipe ideas too.

When I discovered The Tiger Nut Company on Twitter, memories of eating tiger nuts as snacks during my childhood came flooding back and I was pleased to give these a try. I was glad to find they are organic and fair trade and soon put them to work in the blender (having soaked overnight) to make Horchata or tiger nut milk. I love it, so creamy and naturally sweet! Love it with oats and fruit for breakfast or in smoothies. Excellent customer service too!

Love tiger nuts and was pleased to have the opportunity to try the organic flour. I used it in a gluten-free loaf mixed with chickpea four and cornflour and it worked really well, adding some texture and flavour where the other flours were very fine.

There are other ways to eat Tiger Nuts and none are wrong but these organic and unpeeled variety are far and away my favorites.

They have the same caramel-nutty-raisin flavor as peeled Tiger Nuts but with an absolutely delightful chewiness that begins with a goldilocks (just right!) level of resistance that yields over time releasing more and more of that charismatic flavor making them ideal for savoring and of course offering all the fibre!

As great as they are just by themselves they are very well complimented by spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger and they make a fantastic component of various smoothie bowls and trail mixes.
